Pre-Arranged Absences
The purpose of this form is to notify TMA in advance of a planned absence for your child. If you need to notify the school of an unplanned absence due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, please call the office at 407.971.2221 or email usoffice@mastersacademy.org.
Student Driver Early Dismissal
Should a student need to leave school early without a parent/guardian present, the parent must fill out the online early dismissal form prior to dismissal to be granted permission. No student will be allowed to leave school without a completed form. Any student who fills out the form in place of a parent will be subject to disciplinary action (see discipline policy). Students who drive (or are riding with a student driver) must sign out in the upper school office before leaving campus for an early dismissal and present a driving pass to the security guard to leave campus.
Parents of students who do not drive must sign their students out by coming into the upper school office and signing the dismissal register. Student drivers who fail to sign out on the dismissal register will be subject to disciplinary action (see discipline policy).
Lightning Alert Dismissal
K5 - 5th Grade
Upon arrival at the LS carline, please wait until you see the yellow sign that prompts you to complete the dismissal form and enter your car tag number. This ensures your student will be released from class as you are approaching the pickup point. We do not want students waiting in the breezeway longer than absolutely necessary.
Please maintain two lanes until you get to the turn by the dumpsters. At that turn, please form a single line closest to the outside lane, using a zippered merge. This allows each car to drive under the overhang to safely pick up students. Be sure to merge every other car from either lane to keep both lanes moving.
If we are still in the process of a lightning dismissal at 3:45, we will need all cars to please park in a parking spot. Then it is your choice to come check your child out from the office OR allow them to be signed into aftercare and cared for safely in the LS hallways. Aftercare fees will apply.
6th - 12th Grade
For the safety of your student(s), we ask that you wait to fill out the form until you have entered the campus gate. This ensures they will be released as close as possible to your actual pickup.
