Safety & Security
Campus Security
The Master’s Academy prioritizes the safety and well-being of our students, families, faculty, and staff. Our security team includes multiple trained professionals, all licensed law enforcement and/or security officers by the State of Florida, along with contracted support from a security company.
This team provides daily armed security coverage on campus and is also present for many evening activities. Their responsibilities include managing vehicle access, conducting regular patrols and door checks, and maintaining a visible presence across campus.
To support campus safety, vehicles entering school property are required to display the current school-year TMA Gate Pass decal on the lower driver’s side of the front windshield. During drop-off and pick-up, vehicles without a decal may be directed to a designated parking area for verification before being allowed to proceed.
For added protection, the lower school gate remains closed during the school day so that all entry and exit occur through a single monitored point. The gate reopens only during drop-off and afternoon dismissal to ensure efficient traffic flow.
All faculty and staff wear name tags clearly identifying them as school personnel. Parents and visitors are required to sign in and out at the main office, where they receive an ID badge or sticker before moving through campus.

Financial Assistance
Financial Assistance
On March 27, 2023, Governor Ron DeSantis signed HB 1, legislation that greatly expanded eligibility for Florida’s school choice scholarships (now all students who are residents of Florida and eligible to enroll in Kindergarten - 12th grade are eligible, but priority is still given to lower and middle-income families).
Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC) & The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO)
The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship and Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options are state-funded scholarships available for all students entering grades K5-12. Visit StepUpForStudents.org to learn about scholarship details and application requirements. It is important to apply as soon as applications become available each year.
Families may sign up at the Step Up website to be notified when applications for funding become available. If awarded a Step Up scholarship, families must submit their award information to TMA's Finance Office so the child can be properly enrolled in the program.
The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities (FES-UA)
The FES-UA Scholarship combines what was formerly known as the Gardiner and McKay Scholarships. Families must submit their award information to TMA's Finance Office so the child can be properly enrolled in the program.
This scholarship is for Florida students 3 years old through 12th grade, with one of the following diagnoses: anaphylaxis, Autism spectrum disorder, being a high-risk child, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, emotional or behavioral disability, hearing impairment, hospital or homebound, identification as dual sensory impaired, intellectual disability, language impairment, muscular dystrophy, orthopedic impairment, other health impairment, Phelan-McDermid syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, rare diseases, specific learning disability, speech impairment, Spina Bifida, traumatic brain injury, visual impairment, Williams syndrome.
Visit Step Up for Students to learn about scholarship details and eligibility requirements.
FES-UA scholarship families and students applying for admission to The Master’s Academy must meet the same entrance requirements as all other applicants. Prospective students must meet the academic guidelines set for the G.O.L.D. program; have a current IEP, and current full battery psychological and educational testing. Entrance is also based on available space.
Students with a disability do not have an individual right to receive some or all of the special education and related services that the student would receive if enrolled in a public school under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), as amended.
Financial Aid
The Master’s Academy has a limited amount of funds to assist families each year (students in the preschool programs are not eligible for financial aid). This program is capped at 50% of a family's out-of-pocket tuition and requires a new application to be filed annually in order to be considered for funding for the upcoming school year.
Eligibility is based in part on income and asset levels during the previous tax year and requires third-party verification of tax returns. In order for a family to be considered for financial aid, the student(s) must already be enrolled at TMA for the upcoming school year. If your student is not yet enrolled for the upcoming school year, please contact TMA's Office of Admissions at (407) 971-2221 ext. 1820 for enrollment information.
Instructions and FAQs regarding the 2025-26 Financial Aid application can be found here. Please read this document before beginning your application.
The financial aid application window closed on April 1, 2025. If funds are still available after all submitted applications are processed, we will reopen applications. Click here to be placed on the waitlist for applications should they reopen.
