Admissions FAQs

1. How long has The Master's Academy been serving families?
TMA opened in 1986 with 230 students. Today, it serves over 1,100 students - from Preschool through 12th grade - on its 31-acre campus. 
2. Is TMA affiliated with a particular denomination?
TMA is an independent, non-denominational Christian school and is not affiliated with any particular denomination.
3. Is TMA accredited?
Yes, TMA is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), and Cognia. 
4. Do you offer financial aid or accept outside scholarships?
Yes. Financial aid and scholarship opportunities are available; you can find details on the Financial Assistance page. 
5. Is there a wait list for admission?
For full grade levels, eligible applicants are placed into a wait pool, an unranked list. Placement decisions are made as openings arise, not by chronological order.
6. What are the school hours?
  • Lower School: 8:00 AM - 2:45 PM
  • Upper School: 7:40 AM - 3:05 PM.
  • On Wednesdays: Lower School ends at 1:45 PM, Upper School ends at 2:05 PM
7. Are meals provided?
Yes, meal plans are available for both Lower and Upper School students. 
8. Where do I purchase uniforms?
Uniforms are sold by Risse Brothers (555 FL-436, Suite 1002, Casselberry, FL 32730). 
9. Do you offer Fine Arts?
Yes. TMA has extensive opportunities in theater, art, music, and dance, all aimed “not for the sake of art, but for God’s glory.” 
10. What sports programs are available?
  • Lower School: Athletics and intramurals led by varsity coaches for skill development. 
  • Middle & Upper School: Up to 17 different sports across 41 teams at the Middle School, JV, and Varsity levels. 
11. Is after-school care available?
Yes, for Lower and Middle School students, aftercare is offered until 6:00 PM. Please visit our aftercare page for rates and additional details.

13. What is the withdrawal and refund policy?

Enrollment Fees are non-refundable once they have been paid. If a student on the payment plan withdraws for a school year (in writing received by the Finance Office) before March 1, the family will not be charged the March/April installment of the enrollment fee. If it is done before April 1, they will not be charged the April installment. No credits will be issued on any enrollment fees after March 31.

Tuition payments are owed through the month in which the student withdraws, calculated on a 12-month payment plan beginning in June.
