Lower School (Grades K-5)

We are absolutely thrilled to walk alongside you and watch your child flourish during these precious, foundational years. At TMA, every day is filled with laughter, learning, and a whole lot of love as we go the second mile together, always keeping Christ at the very center of all we do.
Our mission is what makes TMA so special: as a Christ-centered school, we pursue both spiritual transformation and academic excellence with Christian families. That means your child isn't just learning facts and skills, they're being equipped and inspired for a lifetime of engagement with God's mission. What a joy and privilege it is to partner with you in that calling!
As you explore this site, you'll find resources to guide you through each school year, but we hope you catch the heartbeat of our community - a place where faith, family, and learning come together in the sweetest way. It's always an honor to be a part of a child's story...to welcome you into the TMA Family!

TMA Lower School
TMA Lower School will provide your child with an excellent academic experience as well as transformational spiritual mentorship. As a committed group of Christian professionals, we seek to build a firm academic and spiritual foundation for your child that can be strengthened through their middle and high school years.
Our curriculum is aligned to both state and national standards and reflects best practices in teaching and learning. Students build essential skills grade by grade, engaging in hands-on learning, collaborative projects, and rich literacy and mathematical experiences. Emphasis is placed on cultivating critical thinking, strong communication skills, and a lifelong love of learning. Lessons are designed to challenge students at developmentally appropriate levels while supporting the unique needs and learning styles of each child. Through our instruction, Scripture is integrated and a biblical worldview is nurtured in all our students, helping them understand God’s truth in every area of study.
Our Lower School educational experience includes instruction in the five core subject areas of English/Language Arts, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Bible. Students also participate in weekly PE, Art, Music, Library, Spanish, and our innovative STEAM lab. Our STEAM lab focuses on developing 21st - century skills in the areas of science, technology, engineering, the arts/apologetics, and mathematics. Students will grow in their ability to be creative and collaborative problem-solvers by utilizing the design-thinking process.
Students attend chapel once a week, which includes worship time and a lesson provided by TMA staff, local pastors, or our LS drama team (A.C.T.S.). Throughout the school year, we also offer an LS athletic program that includes basketball, soccer, volleyball, cheer, track, bowling, and flag football. Fine Arts experiences include after-school art programs, music lessons, and drama productions. Teachers will offer many other enriching clubs throughout the year.
We strive to provide a menu of high-quality choices for our students to explore their interests and develop their God-given gifts and talents, laying the foundation for confident, compassionate, and Christ-centered leaders.
