Financial Assistance

With a maximum award of $3,750, the Florida Child Scholarship is awarded to any student who was enrolled as a full-time-equivalent public school student during the fiscal year 06-07 and qualified for free or reduced-price school lunches. It is also awarded to any student who received a scholarship from an eligible nonprofit scholarship-funding organization during the previous school year. Parents must show proof of this scholarship in order for TMA to accept and honor that scholarship.Financial Assistance

Not eligible for the Florida Child Scholarship are entering kindergartners, first graders who did not attend a public school kindergarten, students already enrolled in a nonpublic school, students who were in a home education program for entire year, and students who were not in public school during October 2006 and February 2007 of the past school fiscal year.

Families and students entering The Master’s Academy must meet the same entrance requirements as any other entering child, i.e.: a credible Christian testimony and attendance at a local Christian church, available space etc. www.floridachild.org/faculty room.

Notice to New Scholarship Applicants for the ChildrenFirst-Central Florida and the Florida Association of Scholarship Funding Organizations: There is now an Application Request Waitlist so interested families may be contacted when funding becomes available.

The McKay Scholarship is awarded to students with learning disabilities and based upon the matrix of services allocated to each student according to their need. Parents must file an intent to participate in a private school’s program expressing dissatisfaction of the public school system. Parents must show proof of this scholarship in order for TMA to accept and honor that scholarship.

To qualify, students must have been in public school during October 2006 and February 2007 of the past school fiscal year (counting time). Each student must have a current IEP (Individual Education Plan).

Families and students entering The Master’s Academy must meet the same entrance requirements as any other entering child, i.e.: a credible Christian testimony and attendance at a local Christian church.

Students must meet the academic guidelines set for the G.O.L.D. program, have a current IEP, and current full battery psychological and educational testing. Entrance is also based upon available space. www.floridaschoolchoice.org.
