Feedback from TMA parents 2008 - 2009

Most important to our family is the fact that our children are being taught to memorize the Word of God. It is the number one reason our children are at Master’s. They are being taught the importance of God's Word, how to apply it to everyday life, and how to "hide it in their hearts that they might not sin against God."

Where do I begin?!   Having my now second grader in public school for two years BEFORE coming to TMA has given me an intense appreciation for what my girls have at Master’s!  Finally, I can send my children to school and feel peaceful knowing that they are in a loving, safe environment.  Academics are "all there", yet what truly inspired my husband and I to make the move was knowing that our girls would be in an environment that reflected what we are teaching our precious children at home.  As parents, it is our job, not the school’s, to teach good manners, respect, Godliness, responsibility, etc., however, when you consider the amount of time our children spend getting their education, it is refreshing and inspiring to know that when my girls are at Master's the atmosphere is in-keeping with our family values.  I love having letter grades for lower school, the communication and teacher feedback is great, the warmth and sweetness coming from faculty during A.M. and P.M. carline is so meaningful, and appreciated!!   My husband and I are thrilled to have our girls at TMA!  Our girls love their teachers, chapel, and the playground is awesome!

Last night we got a message from the high school principal that our son is doing excellent in Geometry.  My husband was expecting a bad message; of course.  It was a message on our home phone from the principal who was so very nice and encouraging. That was really a nice message.  I never had nice messages when I was in school; my parents just knew when I was not doing so well.

I love the guidance counselor. She is just great!

What I like about TMA are the endless opportunities for my kids in academics, sports, and other things they might like to try.  My son is doing yearbook this year, along with a whole host of other things!   They get to use all their God-given talents here, or at least try them out!

We love that TMA provides an atmosphere that the kids don't have to be nervous in talking about Christ and instead promotes it and we also absolutely love that we as parents are provided an opportunity to share and participate in their school experiences by volunteering in the classrooms and COACHING throughout their TMA careers.  In public schools you might have this opportunity as they are in elementary school but that's all and I think that this makes you miss out on a lot of the "growing up" experiences.  Even if they are still embarrassed to have us around.

Wow. Where do I begin?  We just switched to Masters last year and I can't tell you the impact this school has made in our lives.  This school is more than just a school, it's a family.   And not just any family, it's God's family!   I think it's great that the students are not only learning the fundamental academics, but they're learning God's Word.  And, more importantly, they're learning how to use God's Word to serve others in their community and make an impact in this world.  What a blessing TMA has been!

I personally really appreciate the fact that my kids can openly talk about their love of Jesus Christ without being stifled by adults or teased by fellow students, like they would at a public school.

There's no greater comfort when entrusting other adults with your children than knowing they will love them and pray for them; and knowing they are not only educators, but are in ministry. My son is the recipient of much patience and prayer!:)

Teacher feedback via daily e-mails is great! I actually know how my boys are doing and what there homework requirements are.
