 We see, but we must learn to observe. Mastering the art of “observation” is one of the strengths of the visual arts department at TMA. With our fast paced lifestyles, even the youngest child must learn to be still and observe, so that nothing in God’s wonderful creation is missed. Art instruction begins in kindergarten and progresses though portfolio classes in high school. Many TMA seniors seek careers in visual arts and earn scholarships to art schools. Students learn to understand and apply the elements and principles of art, building on a strong foundation throughout their years at TMA. The art instructors seek to discover and develop the amazing talent in our children. We give God the glory for what we are able to create and use the gift of art for expression, inspiration, and satisfaction.
